Helping others to understand my PsA
Keeping those around you informed can help you get the support you need.
How much information you share with those around you is completely up to you. However, if you let people know about the symptoms and day-to-day challenges posed by PsA, they may be able to support you.
Informing others may come in the form of having a conversation. Talking openly can help reduce feelings of isolation and enable you to share any feelings or worries you might have. Alternatively, you may find it easier to share any leaflets your doctor has given you, or direct them to this website.
Remember that your close friends and family want to support you along the way, and it is okay to ask for help and support.
