Treating CRSwNP

Treatment

Treatment options include medication and surgery. The right treatment for you will depend on your symptoms, severity, and how well you respond to medications. Your doctor will work with you to find the most appropriate approach.

The following options are used to treat CRSwNP.

Three boxes with text detailing treatment options - Medication, Surgery, and Biologics. The first box says “Medication (corticosteroids) that reduces inflammation in your nasal passages and sinuses.” The second box, “Surgery”, says ”This involves having surgery to remove the polyps and help clear your nasal passages.” The third box, “Biologics”, says ”These are types of medication that work to control part of your immune system that plays a role in your CRSwNP.”

Treatment will not usually cure your CRSwNP, but it will help to manage your symptoms and make them less likely to affect your quality of life.

For many people, lifestyle changes and at-home remedies can also provide relief from symptomsand will be covered more in Living with CRSwNP.
